After battling the black mold that formed on my wooden cutting board, I have resorted to using a flexible plastic board, which I’m finding easy to use, especially when I’m able to fold and let the chopped veggies fall into the pan without my floor catching little morsels, which later I step on.
But I’m missing the character of my old board. I miss the wood grain, when the knife touches the board and a soft sound barely echos in the kitchen. I think my camera lens misses it too, for it produced better images than the loaner.
So, I will continue to use the cookie cutter board, I’m pretty sure everyone has one, until I can rid of the mold. If anyone has ideas, please feel free to comment.
That’s all from What’s on the Chopping Block, truly I wish there was more to tell you.
